After learning more about Green Arrow’s origins last week, Smallville fans will be introduced to a new, much more feminine DC Comics character this week in the form of Maxima, played by Canadian actress Charlotte Sullivan.

Maxima comes to Earth when a beam of light is shot into space during Tess’ testing of Clark’s crystal. Maxima, a queen from the planet Almerac, arrives in Metropolis and begins her search for her soulmate, starting with Jimmy.
